Client Focused
We succeed when we center our decisions and practices around what is best for our clients.
To say that everyone at Rose Street Advisors is “Client Focused” maybe sounds like a cliché. However, I’m here to tell you that it’s not lip service. I came to Rose Street Advisors 7 years ago as an Employee Benefits Relationship Manager, having worked with agencies all over the country in a prior consulting role and TPA practice. Many agencies assign a single person to manage all aspects of a client’s business. I was shocked at the team that was assembled around me to take care of our Employee Benefits clients. Not only is there a Relationship Manager, there is a Producer, Client Specialist and strong administrative support team to service our clients! Each team member is focused and encouraged to work in the areas they thrive in and are most passionate about. Similar staffing and client support exists in our Human Resources, Investments, Wealth Management and Life Insurance departments as well! Rose Street Advisors invests significantly in our people so that we can provide exceptional service and focus on our clients. This also allows each team member the time and energy to get to know each client, their strategies, goals, needs and employees and bring the most value possible to their role. I’m grateful that in my time at Rose Street Advisors I’ve been set up to succeed and encourage our clients to achieve their goals, so that being client focused becomes a reality and not a cliché.

Let's Talk
Let’s face it, we’re all tired of talking about the pandemic. But it’s still here and it’s giving leaders a run for their money. Usually, stressful situations are more short term. Something bad happens, we find a way through it, and we’re back on our way again. Two years in, that’s just not true for this.
During 2021, SHRM reported that 75% of employees reported feeling burned out and 78% said that their mental health was negatively impacted by the pandemic and surrounding events. That’s not the recipe we usually think of for energizing our employees. Ironically, some employers tried to reinvigorate their teams during the quarantine with more virtual meetings, happy hours, etc., but then received pushback that another virtual meeting wasn’t the solution for employees who are tired of Zoom. In person gatherings created their own concerns for employees who did not feel safe attending.
So what can we do?
As employers, the last thing we want to do is to turn our backs on the time we’ve spent developing a positive culture. But this one is a real challenge. A couple of things to consider if you want to rebuild those energy levels:
